Food concession Information

APPLICATION DEADLINE: July 1st (Earlier applications encouraged).

Questions that aren't answered here or on the application form? Please email us.

Fees:

To secure your site please submit a non-refundable cheque or money order for $250 payable to the Kispiox Valley Music Festival with this application. Once we receive and approve your application we will send you an acknowledgement email with an indication of your site location.

Food Sales Permit:

You are required to have a Food Sales Permit for the festival weekend. Apply for this permit at your nearest Public Health office at least three weeks in advance of the festival. This permit must be visible at all times and will be confirmed by the coordinator before setup is allowed.

Generators:

are NOT permitted for the duration of the festival (day or night).

Vehicles:

You are entitled to have one vehicle (in addition to your vending unit) on grounds free of charge and parked near your venue. Additional vehicle charges are payable at the gate.

Site location:

Size and power limitations will determine site locations.

Garbage, Recycling and Food Containers:

We aim for a low-impact and healthy festival and encourage you to use biodegradable or reusable serving products and limit any sugary products. No
glass containers are allowed on the grounds.
Please provide garbage and recycling receptacles for your own use. The festival provides garbage and recycling receptacles for public use and will not accept pre-bagged vendor preparation garbage unless it is sorted for recycling. Check with Coordinators if more information is required.

dogs

There are no dogs allowed on festival grounds—especially not in vehicles. If required, working animals (seeing eye dogs, for instance.) must be clearly identified.

Setup:

Vendors will be admitted onto the grounds to set up Friday July 28 no earlier than 9 AM. Vendors are encouraged to arrive early (there are always line ups at the gate) and advised that they will be set up in their location on a first-come, first-served basis. Sites will be marked and vendors are only permitted to set up in their assigned site with the assistance of the coordinator. If you require a Thursday evening set up you must pre-arrange this with the Coordinator.

We look forward to having you contribute to another wonderful festival!
